It could possibly be used to make you more keen on dieting/exercising, but I don’t think the hypnosis alone would make you lose weight.

It does really work for some people; my friend’s mom was hypnotized not to eat chocolate and she didn’t eat chocolate for a year.

Talk with a certified hypnosis therapist in your area (check your phone book). Hypnosis only works on some people.

Edit: I just reread your question, and no, not by a CD at all. That sounds really dangerous. Again, if you’re interested, talk with a certified professional.

I’d recommend you read up on hypnosis. Hypnosis is used as an aid, in conjunction with dietary and physical activity changes.

Hypnosis allows the mind to become susceptible to suggestions made by the hypnotist, in a relaxed state of trance. In this state, the cognitive and subconscious part of the mind is very open to following through with the suggestions made, granted the person wants it to happen as well.

So for example, suppose you were inducted into trance and the hypnotist made a series of suggestions that you will be able to control food cravings for chocolate, spicy and unhealthy foods, and that vegetables, fruits, grains, etc. would be appealing to you, and your mind let that suggestion re-program your cognitive level of processing information (the part of the mind where thoughts are generated), then it would seem so.

weightloss does have a lot to do with mind set – your mind sets the boundaries, so on that note the idea is correct but ultamately it come down to ‘70% diet and 30% exercise’ which i quote, that will help one lose weight – but you also have to be mentally ready to lose weight – you wont be able to do that if you are not willing to change deep down inside – no gimic is as good as a healthy lifestyle.

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.
